Last week South African Women’s MMA launched a poll to establish who the country’s favourite female fighter is.
Results and comments show that of 115 votes, majority favourited amateur fighter, Shana Power, over professionals Amanda Lino (2nd) and Danella Eliasov (3rd).
Shana ousted her last opponent Jennifer Bothma in 29 seconds via Rear Naked Choke, following her debut win over Iris Rodriques last year. She is currently 2-0 as an amateur.
